It had been determined that since
music was the universal language -
it should be fought for.
The world battled over
who should have the music.
But, as is so often the case in war,
The PRIZE became the CASUALTY.
Music -
the playing of it,
listening to it,
dancing to it -
was banned worldwide.
Nightclubs were gutted
and all forms of musical activity
were prohibited.
The people would not
accept this prohibition.
They met at underground dance clubs,
whose whereabouts were unknown
to the authorities and moved constantly.
Because of these illegal activities
there came to be men
known as music investigators...
Men such as SHAMUS POOLE.
